Restocking inventory

An IBO for your merchant account, from application to live MID.

A US acquirer underwrites a US-resident person and a coherent file; a non-resident applicant alone brings neither. The IBO package puts both on the table: a US entity with its EIN, a director who signs and answers the calls, a bank account you control, and documents that match. Delivered the same day you pay.

What an underwriter reads on a US MID application

The six lines a US MID application asks for, and where a non-resident file usually stops.

A merchant account application is read line by line. The underwriter wants a US-incorporated entity, an EIN issued to that entity, a US-resident authorized signer who usually also signs the personal guarantee, a US business bank account for settlements, a set of documents that agree with each other, and a website that says what the business sells. A non-resident merchant can usually produce the entity and the EIN. The signer, the bank account and the coherence are where the file stops.

This page is about closing those lines with an IBO package and taking the application to the acquirer. If you are still working out what a US merchant account requires from an international merchant, start with US merchant account; if you are deciding whether an IBO is the right route for a high-risk vertical, read using an IBO for a high-risk merchant account. Here the decision is made, and we walk through the file, the flow and the timeline.

The Independent Business Operator (IBO) is the person the underwriter actually evaluates: a US resident with a clean record and a credit score of 650 or more, listed on the entity, on the EIN and on the bank account, and reachable when the acquirer calls. The role is explained on what is an IBO. What matters here is that every document in the package points to the same person, the same address and the same state, which is the coherence an underwriter checks first.

Each underwriting line, and how the package answers it

What the acquirer asks for, and what arrives on Telegram the day you pay.

Underwriter checks
Why the acquirer asks
In the IBO package
US-incorporated entity
The merchant of record must be a US company the acquirer can contract with.
An LLC or C-Corp incorporated in the director's home state, with the articles and the operating agreement in the file.
EIN
The entity's tax ID; it must match the articles and the bank account.
Issued to the entity before delivery, with the EIN letter in the document bundle.
US-resident authorized signer and guarantor
Someone with a US address, a government ID and a credit file the underwriter can pull.
The director: a US resident, zero criminal record, credit score of 650 or more, KYC file already assembled.
US business bank account
Settlements are paid into an account in the entity's name at a bank that has verified the signer.
Opened at Bluebanc or Relay in the company's name, full operational access handed to you.
Documents that agree with each other
Mismatched names, addresses or states are a common reason for a decline or a request for more information.
Government ID, proof of address, articles, operating agreement and EIN letter, all issued to the same director in the same state.
Website and business description
The underwriter reads what you sell, the descriptor, the refund policy, the terms and the contact details.
On your side. A professional email on the company domain is included; the document template pack add-on ($499) supplies refund policy and terms templates.

A dedicated US residential proxy is also included, so applications originate from where the company lives.

What the director does while the file is in underwriting

The director stays on the file for as long as the package is active.

Answers verification calls
When the acquirer or the bank calls the signer of record, the director answers, with the business details you shared in the private Telegram group beforehand.
Signs what the acquirer requires
Merchant agreement, personal guarantee, bank authorizations and any resolution requested during onboarding. Signatures come back through the same group, without your name on the acquirer's paperwork.
Is already the verified signer at the bank
The director is the person Bluebanc or Relay onboarded, so the acquirer's bank verification points to the same person as the rest of the file.
Stays out of the business
No opinion on your products, funnels, offers or ads. You run the operation and control the bank account; the director carries the legal layer.

How to open a MID with an IBO package

Same-day delivery on our side, then 3 to 10 business days of acquirer onboarding.

  1. 1

    Contact a representative on Telegram

Say what you sell, where you process today and the volume you expect. Merchants are reviewed on business proofs before dashboard access. There is no KYC, notary or travel on you.

  2. 2

Pick a package and the plan that matches your billing

Choose an available entity in the inventory. White Hat ($1,999 setup, then $4,499 per month) for steady, predictable volume such as e-commerce, dropshipping and info-products; Grey Hat ($2,499 setup, then 9% of deposit volume) for subscription-heavy and continuity billing. A misclassified package is suspended.

  3. 3

Pay the setup fee and receive the package the same day

Payment in USDT or USDC on ERC20 or TRC20. Once it confirms, the entity documents, the director's documents, the bank access, the email and the proxy arrive in your private Telegram group.

  4. 4

Prepare the application with your ISO or directly

Bring the ISO you already trust or apply to the acquirer directly; the package is processor-agnostic. Upload the package documents, add your website, business description and projected volumes, and name the director as authorized signer.

  5. 5

Let the acquirer underwrite the file

Acquirer onboarding typically takes 3 to 10 business days depending on the processor and the vertical. During that window the director answers verification calls and signs what is requested. The decision is the acquirer's.

  6. 6

Go live and settle into the account you control

Once the MID is approved, settlements land in the company's bank account, where you already hold full access. Plan billing starts 30 days after delivery, whether or not the MID is live by then.

Packages are permanently in stock and delivered the same day payment confirms. The acquirer's onboarding starts as soon as you file. Names are masked until you sign in.

One package, one MID: the rules that keep the file clean

The same operating conditions as every IBOCore package, read from the merchant account side.

  • One MID at a time per package. Each entity is built to be underwritten once, cleanly. Further MIDs can follow on the same entity with compatible acquirers; parallel MIDs on different processors need one package each.
  • One merchant per director. The IBO has never signed for another merchant and is exclusive to you, so a director cross-check at the acquirer does not surface someone else's application.
  • Activate within 30 days. If no merchant account has been opened and the package sits idle after 30 days, it can be reclaimed; the setup fee is not refunded.
  • Declare the billing model honestly. Subscription and continuity volume belongs on Grey Hat. Running it on a White Hat package suspends the package.
  • Stay inside the served verticals. Adult content, online gambling, pharmacy, firearms, crypto exchanges and anything fraudulent are refused; the full list is on industries.
  • No clawbacks on termination. If an acquirer later terminates the MID, there is no penalty on our side; the package remains yours for another acquirer.

What sends a MID application back

Mistakes on the merchant's side of the file, in general terms.

  • A website with no refund policy, no terms of service, or contact details that do not match the entity. Underwriters review the site as part of the file, not as an afterthought.
  • A business description that contradicts the billing model on the application: a trial-to-continuity offer declared as one-time billing.
  • An authorized signer who cannot be reached for the verification call. A director under contract covers this; a friend or a gig signer is the usual point of failure.
  • Documents from different states: an entity in one, a signer licensed in another, a bank letter showing a third. The package is built in the director's home state to avoid this.

The 3 to 10 business days quoted here are the acquirer's typical onboarding time after delivery, not a promise of approval. No provider controls an underwriter's decision and IBOCore publishes no approval statistics; what the package controls is the coherence of the file you submit.

IBO for merchant account, frequently asked

The follow-up questions merchants ask once the application is in view.

Who signs the merchant application and the personal guarantee?

The director, as the authorized signer of the entity. Acquirers typically ask that person to sign the personal guarantee too, so they need a US resident with a credit file they can pull. The IBO in the package is that person: US-resident, zero criminal record, credit score of 650 or more, KYC file already assembled. Your name does not appear on the application.

What happens on the acquirer's verification call?

The acquirer, and sometimes the bank, calls the signer of record to confirm the business, the products, the volumes and who runs the company. The director takes the call. Before it happens, you brief the director through the private Telegram group, so the answers match the website and the application. An unreachable signer is a common reason a file stalls.

What do I need to provide from my side for the application?

Your website with terms of service, a refund policy and contact details that match the entity; a business description; expected monthly volume and average ticket; processing statements if any. The document template pack add-on ($499) supplies agreements, invoices, refund policy and terms of service templates.

What if I do not have an ISO yet?

The package is processor-agnostic: you can apply directly with an acquirer that accepts direct applications, or bring any ISO agent later. If you want guidance on picking an acquirer for your vertical and structuring the application, the merchant account consulting add-on is $899 per month. IBOCore does not lock you into an in-house ISO.

Where do settlements land after approval?

In the business bank account opened in the company's name at Bluebanc or Relay, the same account the acquirer verified during underwriting. You hold full operational access: inbound and outbound wires, debit card, no minimum balance. The director does not move funds and does not interfere with the business after approval.

What if the acquirer declines the application?

The decision belongs to the acquirer and no provider can promise otherwise. The package stays yours, with no clawback and no penalty, and the same entity, director and bank account can go to another acquirer with your ISO. Ask for the decline reason, fix what is on your side (website, description, billing model) and file again.
