A US nominee for your bank and processor, full access in your hands.

The nominee is the US-resident authorized signer on the business bank account and the person the acquirer underwrites. IBOCore delivers the nominee inside a US company package: the account is opened in the company's name at Bluebanc or Relay, and the operational access is handed to you the same day.

What a US nominee does on the banking and processor side

One person, two files: the bank's and the acquirer's. Both name the nominee. Both are operated by you.

A US business bank account needs an authorized signer: a US resident with a government ID, a proof of address and a credit history the bank can check. A merchant account application needs a person of record: the signer the acquirer runs KYC on, calls for verification and holds to the merchant agreement. A US nominee is that person. At IBOCore the nominee is the Independent Business Operator (IBO) who directs the company, so the bank file and the processor file carry the same name, address and documents.

The account is opened in the company's name at Bluebanc or Relay with the nominee as signer. Then the operational access is handed to you: online banking, inbound and outbound wires, a debit card, no minimum balance. The nominee does not run the account and does not run the business. When the bank or the acquirer needs a signature, a verification call or a fresh document, the nominee answers. Everything else is yours.

This page covers the banking and processor side. The entity side, meaning the nominee director on the formation documents and the EIN, is on nominee director USA. The role in plain terms is on what is an IBO. If what you need is only a person to sign a merchant application, read US signer first: IBOCore supplies the signer inside the package, never as a stand-alone service.

What the nominee does and does not do

The split is the same on every package. Nothing in the right-hand column ever moves to the nominee.

Task
The nominee
You
Bank account opening
Signer of record; the account is opened in the company's name
Receive the full operational access on delivery
Wires, debit card, balance
Does not operate the account
Send and receive wires, use the card, keep no minimum balance
Merchant account application
Signs as the authorized signer; KYC subject for the acquirer
Choose the acquirer; bring your own ISO or apply directly
Verification calls
Answers the bank and the acquirer personally
Coordinate timing through your private Telegram group
Documents and compliance requests
Signs resolutions, agreements and KYB refreshes on request
Keep the business consistent with what was declared
Products, pricing, funnels, ads
No opinion, no involvement
Entirely yours
Customers, refunds, chargebacks
Not involved
Your responsibility, as on any merchant account
Classification of the business
Not involved
Declare it honestly at purchase; misclassification suspends the package

The nominee collaborates on every verification and compliance request for the active life of the package, and stays out of the business side entirely.

What arrives with the nominee

The nominee never comes alone. A banking file only works when every piece matches.

Business bank account at Bluebanc or Relay
Opened in the company's name with the nominee as signer. Inbound and outbound wires, debit card, no minimum balance, no restrictions.
Full operational access, handed over
You receive the access on delivery, not a spectator view of the balance. Settlements from the acquirer land in an account you operate.
The nominee's KYC file
Government ID, proof of address, a clean background check and a credit score of 650 or more. The file the bank checked is the file the acquirer will check.
Company documents matching the bank file
Articles, operating agreement and EIN letter in the same name, state and address as the account. Underwriters check that the entity, the signer and the account agree.
US residential proxy and company email
Logins to the bank and the processor portal come from a dedicated US residential IP, and correspondence goes to an address on the company domain.
Account manager on Telegram, 24/7
A private group with your own account manager, open around the clock, where verification calls, signatures and compliance requests are coordinated.

From payment to your first settlement

What happens on the banking side once the package is yours.

  1. 1

    Receive the package on Telegram

The same day the payment confirms, your private group receives the company documents, the nominee's documents, the bank access, the company email and the proxy details.

  2. 2

    Take over the account

Log in through the US residential proxy, check the wire instructions and the debit card, and use the account for the business. There is no balance to park and no payout schedule to wait for.

  3. 3

    Apply for the merchant account

File the application with your own ISO or directly. The nominee signs as the authorized signer and answers the acquirer's verification call. Acquirer onboarding typically takes 3 to 10 business days.

  4. 4

    Process and settle

Once the MID is live, settlements land in the bank account you control. Ongoing billing starts 30 days after delivery, so the onboarding window carries no monthly fee.

Nominees are delivered inside packages that are permanently in stock, the same day the payment confirms. Company names are masked until you sign in.

Not legal advice: a plain description of who is who in the arrangement.

A nominee arrangement is a private agreement. The nominee is a real, consenting US resident who passed KYC and agreed to be the signer of record for a company; you contract with that company and its director to open merchant accounts and run the business. Nothing in the file is forged and no identity is borrowed: the person the bank onboarded, the person the acquirer underwrites and the person who answers the phone are the same person.

You remain responsible for the business. What is sold, how it is priced, how customers are served, how refunds and chargebacks are handled and how the business was classified at purchase are yours, not the nominee's. IBOCore does not give legal or tax advice; if your structure needs a professional opinion, get one before you order. The legal framework behind IBO services covers the wider picture.

Exclusivity and the rules that keep the account clean

What comes with every package on the banking side, and the conditions that stay attached to it.

  • One merchant, one nominee. The nominee has never signed for another merchant and will not be reused. Acquirers cross-reference signers across merchant accounts.
  • Fresh profile. No prior processing history on the nominee's name or under the company: nothing for an underwriter to inherit.
  • No minimum balance. Nothing to park in the account to satisfy the provider.
  • No clawbacks. If an acquirer terminates the MID, IBOCore charges nothing back; the package stays yours for the next acquirer.
  • Zero interference. The nominee signs and answers calls; the business decisions stay with you.
  • The package conditions still apply. Activate within 30 days, classify the business honestly at purchase and stay out of the refused verticals. They are detailed on nominee director USA and industries.

Nominee offers that fail at the bank or the acquirer

The banking side is where weak nominee offers break. Six patterns to walk away from.

  • A "nominee bank account" where you only see the balance and the provider pushes payouts on its own schedule. That is a spectator view, not access.
  • A minimum balance you must park in the account to satisfy the provider, sometimes for the life of the package.
  • A nominee already on file at other banks and acquirers for other merchants. Cross-referenced signers sink an application.
  • A nominee who cannot take the bank's or the acquirer's verification call personally. An unreachable signer ends the file.
  • A friend or relative in the US as signer: unlikely to pass the background check or the credit review, no appetite for a high-risk MID, and gone at the first verification call.
  • Any promise about what the acquirer will decide. No provider controls underwriting, and IBOCore does not claim to.

US nominee, frequently asked

The follow-up questions merchants send on Telegram about the banking side.

Is the US nominee the authorized signer on the bank account?

Yes. The account is opened in the company's name at Bluebanc or Relay and the nominee is the signer of record: the US resident whose ID, address and credit file the bank verifies. The operational access (online banking, inbound and outbound wires, debit card) is handed to you on delivery, and the nominee does not operate the account.

What does the nominee do when the bank or the acquirer calls?

The nominee takes the call personally, confirms the business as declared and signs whatever the bank or the acquirer sends (resolutions, processor agreements, updated forms). Anything that needs your input reaches you through the private Telegram group, with your account manager. This collaboration lasts for the active life of the package; it is not a one-off signature.

What is the nominee not responsible for?

Everything on the business side: products, pricing, funnels, ads, customer service, refunds and chargebacks, and the choice of acquirer or ISO. The nominee has no opinion on any of it and no involvement. Declaring the business honestly at purchase is also on you: a subscription-heavy operation belongs on Grey Hat, and a misclassified package is suspended.

Can I get a US nominee for the bank account only, without the company?

No. IBOCore does not sell a stand-alone signer or a nominee for an existing entity. The nominee comes inside the package: US LLC or C-Corp in the nominee's home state, EIN, bank account with full access, documents, email, proxy and support. A bank file only holds together when the company, the signer and the documents match, which is why the pieces are not sold apart.

Is the nominee exclusive to my business?

Yes. One merchant per nominee, never used before and never reused afterwards. Acquirers cross-reference signers across merchant accounts, so a nominee already on file elsewhere would follow you into your own application. Exclusivity is a condition of every IBOCore package, not an option.

What does a US nominee cost at IBOCore?

The nominee is priced as part of the package. White Hat: $1,999 setup, then $4,499 per month, for standard high-risk e-commerce, dropshipping and info-products. Grey Hat: $2,499 setup, then 9% of deposit volume, for subscription and continuity billing. Ongoing billing starts 30 days after delivery. Payment in USDT or USDC on ERC20 or TRC20.
